Baltimore Center Stage has announced this year’s slate of commissioned artists, continuing the organization’s long standing support for developing new projects by some of today’s most exciting theater makers.

La Jolla Playhouse has announced the final two productions for its 2022/2023 season: the world-premiere musical The Outsiders, to run February/March, 2023; and a re-imagined production of Shakespeare’s As You Like It, to run November/December, 2022.

Pioneer Theatre Company has cast Broadway actress, and Emmy-nominated television host, PAIGE DAVIS as Dolly Gallagher Levi in the upcoming musical production HELLO, DOLLY!. The record-setting Broadway musical will be the professional regional theatre's closing musical for the current season, and will run from May 13 through May 28, 2022.

The events include 'Shane Gillis: Live in Austin,' January 6 - 8, Tracy Morgan: 'Working It Out,' from TBS's The Last OG, Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend, January 13 - 15; Ryan Davis, from BET+'s Black in the Day, January 19 - 21; and Donnell Rawlings, 'Ashy Larry' from Chappelle's Show, January 27 - 30.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced the tenth annual Roundabout Underground Reading Series, a four-night event that includes nightly readings of new works written by emerging artists. The Reading Series will feature new works by Liz Appel, Noah Diaz, Daria Miyeko Marinelli and York Walker. The Roundabout Underground Reading Series is January 18 - 21, 2022 at 5:00PM at the Five Angels Theater (789 Tenth Avenue).

Soho Rep, responding to demand, today announced a final extension of the world premiere production of while you were partying, to December 19. Created by Peter Mills Weiss and Julia Mounsey with Brian Fiddyment, while you were partying opened to extraordinary critical praise that led to an initial extension to December 12.

Soho Rep has added two weeks of performances to the world premiere of while you were partying, created by Peter Mills Weiss and Julia Mounsey with Brian Fiddyment, which opened Wednesday night (November 10). The show, which is Soho Rep’s first full production since before the COVID-19 shutdown, will now run through December 12.

Theatre Communications Group has announced new trustees and an updated list of officers for its board of directors. Members of TCG’s board serve up to three two-year terms. Board officers serve terms of one-year, renewable, and concurrent with the fiscal year of July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022.
