Sydney Theatre Company Artistic Director Andrew Upton will step down at the end of this year. The company, which is beginning its search for a new artistic director, posted the following announcement on its website.

Following the Paris World Premiere season in 2013, and special performances celebrating Vivien Leigh's 100th anniversary, Donald Macdonald's new VIVIEN: Letter to Larry plays Jermyn Street Theatre's inaugural Matinee Seasons, in Autumn 2014, starring Susie Lindeman. The show runs 29 September - 5 November 2014 at Jermyn Street Theatre. Press performance October 1 2.30pm.

Kurt Bodden's STEVE SEABROOK: BETTER THAN YOU, a satire of the self-help industry, has extended its run at The Marsh San Francisco through May 18, 2012. Called "very funny" by the San Francisco Chronicle, and "filled with laughs" by the San Francisco Examiner, STEVE SEABROOK: BETTER THAN YOU takes audiences to a safe, nurturing place where they can examine why they're vaguely disappointing. Directed by Mark Kenward, the show takes on a new schedule beginning April 4, playing Thursdays at 8pm and Saturdays at 8:30pm in the upstairs Studio Theater at The Marsh San Francisco, 1062 Valencia Street.
