The Old Globe presents the world premiere of Steve Martin's new play METEOR SHOWER, an adult comedy, marking his welcome return to the Globe following the great success of Bright Star. It will be directed by Gordon Edelstein in a co-production with Long Wharf Theatre, where Edelstein serves as Artistic Director (and no, he is not related to Barry).

The Broadway-themed drama OPENING NIGHT will be released this fall. Directed by Isaac Rentz, the film stars Topher Grace, Lauren Lapkus, Alona Tal, Taye Diggs, Anne Heche, J.C. Chasez, Rob Riggle, Paul Scheer, Brian Husky and Lesli Margherita (MATILDA, DAMES AT SEA).

In honor of the 20th Anniversary of the cult classic, MOTHER, MAY I SLEEP WITH DANGER?, Lifetime and Sony Pictures Television team up with James Franco to remake the classic TV movie, premiering Today, June 18 at 8pm ET/PT.

Netflix has acquired global rights to Charlie McDowell's THE DISCOVERY, starring Rooney Mara (Carol), Robert Redford (Truth) and Jason Segel (The End of the Tour). The film will premiere on Netflix and in select theaters in the US in 2017.
