Thrillpeddlers happily announces that due to popular demand and sold-out houses, its award-winning production of PEARLS OVER SHANGHAI, San Francisco's longest-running Cockettes Musical Hit has been extended again - through Dec. 19, 2010 (schedules vary - see below). What started as a two-month limited engagement in June 2009 will now play for a year and a half! PEARLS has unanimously received rave reviews from critics and audience alike. It's a phenomenon that keeps on growing. PEARLS OVER SHANGHAI plays Sat. 8 pm and Sun. 7 pm in Aug. and Sept.; Sat. 8 pm in Oct.; Sat. 8 pm / Sun. 7 pm in Nov.; and Fri. 8 pm / Sat. 8 pm / Sun. 7 pm in Dec. NCTC is proud to present Dirty Little Showtunes directed by F. Allen Sawyer and musical direction by Scrumbly Koldewyn. The show previews December 3 - 10, opens on Saturday, December 11th and runs through Jan 16, 2011: Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm. (No Shows 12/24, 12/25, and 1/1). All performances will take place at The New Conservatory Theatre Center (Decker Theatre), located at 25 Van Ness Ave. near Market St. in San Francisco, 94102. Beginning back on May 27th and concluding on June 27th, the Something C.O.O.L. Summer Cabaret Festival features a diverse array of cabaret offerings in a 5-week series of performances. The Festival is comprised of diverse offerings by the Bay Area's hardest-working musical theatre performers and features salon evenings, adult-oriented burlesque, and time-honored cabaret performances. The Festival takes place at the Eureka Theatre at 215 Jackson St. (btwn. Battery & Front Sts.).
