According to Variety, The Last Goodbye, the rock version of Romeo and Juliet featuring songs by Jeff Buckley, will be premiering at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. The show will be produced by WTF in association with Hal Luftig, Ruth and Stephen Hendel, Alan D. Marks, and Stephen Moore.

PS Classics has announced at updated song listing for the original cast recording of SONDHEIM ON SONDHEIM. The album is available for pre-order now; pre-ordered albums will be shipped August 10, while the album will not be generally released until August 31. The track listing is as follows:

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, PS Classics, the label dedicated to the heritage of Broadway and American popular song, recorded the original Broadway cast album of SONDHEIM ON SONDHEIM on June 6th and 7th. The production, presented by Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director), began performances at Studio 54 on March 19th, opened officially on April 22nd and will close on June 27th. Today, it has been announced that the album will be available beginning August 31, 2010 in both online and retail outlets.
The track list has now been unveiled on Amazon.com.

The PS Classics cast recording of the Broadway revival of Finian's Rainbow was released in stores Tuesday, February 2. To celebrate the CD release, Finian's Rainbow stars Kate Baldwin, Cheyenne Jackson, Christopher Fitzgerald, Jim Norton, Brian Reddy, Terri White and Guy Davis hosted a CD signing for fans. New Line Theatre has produced many musicals by composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim over its 17 years (Anyone Can Whistle, Company, Sweeney Todd, Sunday in the Park with George, Into the Woods, Assassins, Passion, and two revues of his songs), but they've never been performing one of his shows on his birthday -- till now! On Saturday, March 22, during the current run of Sondheim and John Weidman's Assassins, New Line will throw Sondheim a 78th birthday party, complete with birthday cake for the audience.
