Sixty-nine theatre artists representing 51 shows have been nominated for 2005 Henry Hewes Design Awards

New York's Signature Theatre Company, in its 15th anniversary, will offer $15 tickets for its upcoming 20-month program of plays, including ones by John Guare, Horton Foote and August Wilson

This event has been organized, in conjunction with the New York Blood Center, by representatives of Manhattan Theater Club (team leader Lindsey Brooks), Playwrights Horizons (team leader Caroline Aquino), Primary Stages (team leaders Andy Varhol and Michelle Bossy), Roundabout Theatre Company (team leader Jessica Bowser), and Signature Theatre Company (team leader Adam Bernstein).

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) will present Kate Burton as 'Constance Middleton' in the new Broadway production of W. Somerset Maugham social comedy The Constant Wife, directed by Mark Brokaw at the American Airlines Theatre (227 West 42nd Street). Previews begin on Friday, May 27th, 2005 and opens officially on Thursday, June 16th, 2005. This is a limited engagement through August 7th, 2005.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) is proud to announce that Anthony Mackie will star in the world premiere of Stephen Belber's McReele, staged by Tony Award© nominated director Doug Hughes (Doubt). McReele begins previews in January 2005 at the Laura Pels Theatre (Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre; 111 West 46th Street) and officially opens on Thursday, February 17, 2005. This is a limited engagement through Sunday, April 24th.
