PASTICHENYC and The Mount, Edith Wharton's Home, will present a special event which includes the complete series of Edith Wharton's The House of Mirth Song Cycle, written and directed by Emily King plus a talkback 'Wharton, Rosedale, and Anti-Semitism' with King and Wharton Scholar Lev Raphael.

PASTICHENYC has announced their follow-up to Jane Austen's Persuasion Song Cycle, the World Premiere of a streaming video rendition of Edith Wharton's The House of Mirth Song Cycle, written and directed by Emily King. Watch episode 1 now!

FRANKENSTEIN, the Off-Broadway musical playing at St. Luke's Theatre on Mondays at 7 PM, has been extended into 2019, an open run, with tickets now on sale through March. Based on Mary Shelley's novel, with book, music and lyrics by Eric B. Sirota, FRANKENSTEIN is directed by Clint Hromsco and produced by John Lant, Write Act Repertory and Tamra Pica.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida, Footloose, Dance Captain Dance Attack web series) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. This Thursday night, 11/29 Broadway Sessions will offer up an Off Broadway Extravaganza, featuring cast members from multiple Off Broadway Shows including The Marvelous Wonderettes, The Hidden Ones, Frankenstein, The Book of Merman, The Office, The Musical Parody and more.

Tickets are now on sale for the performance on Monday December 31 at 7 PM, Off-Broadway at St. Luke's Theatre, on Restaurant Row near Times Square. NBC Sports Regional Networks today announced the launch of Fair Play: Youth Sports in America, a multi-platform documentary project that explores the $15 billion organized youth sports industry. Told through the voices of students, coaches, professional athletes and scholars, Fair Play: Youth Sports in America will air in June and July across all NBC Sports Regional Networks, on NBCSN and on NBC Owned Television Stations. The special is presented by GEICO.

When I think of NYMF, I typically think of quirky musicals that would otherwise slip through the cracks of mainstream theatre. HELD MOMENTARILY: A NEW MUSICAL, with book, music, and lyrics by Oliver Houser, fits perfectly into this box, and given its previous performance history at 2014's New York International Fringe Festival, that is no surprise.
