Youth Theater has been home to countless New York City children who looked to TADA! to build their self-confidence and enhance their creativity, while developing their skills in leadership, communication, responsibility, collaboration, and problem-solving. Now TADA! Youth Theater is facing challenging times.

In 2009, four decades after it originally rocked the world, Hair returned under the direction of Diane Paulus. The production, which started at the Public Theater's Shakespeare in the Park the previous summer, opened at the Al Hirschfeld Theater on March 31, 2009. The cast included some of Broadway's best, including Cassie Levy, Will Swenson, Sasha Allen, Allison Case, Kacie Sheik, Bryce Ryness, Jay Armstrong Johnson and future Tony winner, Gavin Creel.

On March 2, 2020, TADA! Youth Theater celebrated its 35th Anniversary Gala honoring Tony award winner Jason Robert Brown and Harold Arlen Award and Sue Brewer Award winner Georgia Stitt. Held at Tribeca 360 in Manhattan, the event welcomed 180 guests and raised $160,000 for the nonprofit.

A galaxy of stars will be performing on March 2, 2020 from 6 pm to 9 pm to celebrate TADA! Youth Theater's 35th Anniversary Gala at Tribeca 360, located at 10 Desbrosses Street in Manhattan.

Broadway ladies united earlier this month for the world premiere of Award-winning composer Carmel Dean's Well-Behaved Women. The cast included: LaChanze, Liz Callaway, Natascia Diaz, Melissa Rose Hirsh, Bonnie Milligan, Katie Thompson, Kuhoo Verma, Sasha Allen, Andréa Burns, Hannah Elless and Barbara Walsh. TADA! Youth Theater will celebrate its 35th Anniversary Gala. This year's honorees are Jason Robert Brown and Georgia Stitt, and the TADA! Gala will be hosted by Tituss Burgess. 

Broadway stars Sasha Allen, Andréa Burns and Hannah Elless have joined the world premiere cast of Award-winning composer Carmel Dean's Well-Behaved Women, it was announced today. Premiering at Joe's Pub on Saturday, January 25th, the 7 PM performance sold out in less than 48 hours, and an additional show has been added for 4:30 PM.

The Dangerous Christmas of Red Riding Hood is a hilarious take on the Red Riding Hood story told from the wolf's point of view, with Music by Jule Styne, Lyrics by Bob Merrill and Book by Robert Emmett. TADA! was the first company to perform this musical on stage.

The Dangerous Christmas of Red Riding Hood was written in the 1960s, and the young actors from TADA! Youth Theater will take to the stage post-performances on November 30th and December 6th to focus on why it is important to do this show now, how it relates to modern culture, and what we can learn by hearing the Wolf's side of the story in this classic tale. Director Janine Nina Trevens and Choreographer Joanna Garcia will also participate in the Q&A.
