Theatrical Outfit, located at the Balzer Theater at Herren's on Luckie Street in downtown Atlanta, continues its 2018-2019 Season of Beauty with the Atlanta premiere of The Pitmen Painters, British writer Lee Hall's (Billy Elliot) dramatization of William Feaver's book about a real-life group of English miners from the Geordie region who become unexpected stars of the high society art circles of London between the World Wars. Both comedic and stirring, The Pitmen Painters, directed by Adam Koplan (Artistic Director of Flying Carpet Theatre Company and director of The Outfit's 2018 hit Perfect Arrangement), features an all-Atlanta ensemble and runs February 27 - March 24, 2019.

Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET), North Fulton's only professional theatre company, is presenting The Elephant Man by Bernard Pomerance, with Atlanta favorite David Crowe taking the directing helm. GET's production will run concurrently with the Broadway revival which opens at the Booth Theatre in November. The Tony Award-winning drama runs at GET October 30 through November 16, 2014, at the Theatre's home, the Roswell Cultural Arts Center, 950 Forrest Street, Roswell, GA. Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET), North Fulton's only professional theatre company, is honored to host a community discussion on Friday, November 7th, following the 8pm performance of The Elephant Man at the Theatre's home in the Roswell Cultural Arts Center. "Human Dignity:" A Discussion with Medical Professionals on Morality and Ethics in The Elephant Man will feature panelists including Judith Dennis, MD (Medical Director of Roswell Urgent Care Center), Brooke Kamke (Director of Nursing Analytics and Systems Innovation at Emory Healthcare), and Kristie W. Koch (Business Analyst for Emory Healthcare Nursing Quality). Several cast members from the play and the production's director, David Crowe, will also be participating in the conversation.
