The New York Festival of Song, with Artistic Director Steven Blier and Associate Artistic Director Michael Barrett, closes its 17th season on Wednesday, May 11th with LOST TRIBES OF VAUDEVILLE, at Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Center, 129 West 67th St., beginning at 8 p.m.
PS Classics to Record "Lone Star Love"

PS Classics will record the cast album of the recent much-acclaimed production of Lone Star Love on March 2nd. Directed by Michael Bogdanov (Olivier Award-winner for The War of the Roses), LONE STAR LOVE is inspired by the play The Merry Wives of Windsor by William Shakespeare, conceived and adapted by John L. Haber, with music and lyrics by Jack Herrick, and contributions from Michael Bogdanov, Bland Simpson and Tommy Thompson. Randy Skinner (2001 Tony® nominee, 42nd Street) is choreographer. Discussions are underway for a commercial transfer.

Featuring the work of Ricky Ian Gordon, Richard Greenberg (TAKE ME OUT) and Joseph Thalken (HAROLD AND MAUDE), who will also serve as the evening’s musical director.
DeHaas replaces McCartney in Duplex's Broadway Series

Due to illness, previously-announced LIZ McCARTNEY will not be able to
appear in The Duplex Cabaret Theatre's popular Broadway Downtown series.
McCartney, who was to have appeared on Monday, February 28th at 7pm, will be
replaced by DARIUS DeHAAS, who will debut a brand new cabaret show.

Pacific Overtures cast recording on PS Classics

PS Classics will record the cast album of the new Broadway production of PACIFIC OVERTURES on February 1, and anticipates a May release. The production, presented by Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) in association with Gorgeous Entertainment (Kumiko Yoshii & Michael Wolk, Producers), began performances at Studio 54 on November 12, 2004, and plays through January 30, 2005.
