Paul Feig is making the move to Universal, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Feig's FeigCo Entertainment company has entered a first-look production deal.

Skylar Astin and Alex Newell are set to star opposite Jane Levy in Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist, according to Deadline.

Jane Levy is set to star in NBC's Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist musical dramedy pilot, according to Deadline. The pilot hails from Jake in Progress creator Austin Winsberg, Eric and Kim Tannenbaum, FeigCo, Universal Music Group and Lionsgate TV.

Jason Reitman is set to direct the next Ghostbusters film for Sony, according to Deadline. He's carrying on the legacy as the son of the original Ghostbusters director, Ivan Reitman.

According to Deadline, NBC has ordered a new pilot, a musical dramedy called Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist.

The Athena Film Festival (AFF) at Barnard College announced today its film slate, including opening night, closing night, and centerpiece films, as well as additional programming for the 2019 festival. NBC has it all on New Year's Eve as Carson Daly and Chrissy Teigen host “NBC's New Year's Eve” live from Times Square in New York with Leslie Jones. Keith Urban will perform live from Nashville and host the Jack Daniel's Music City Midnight: New Year's Eve from Nashville's Bicentennial State Park. Eva Longoria Bastón will make her film directorial debut on workplace comedy '24-7,' which she will star in alongside Kerry Washington, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Rupert Friend will star in Separation, directed by William Brent Bell and written by Nick Amadeus and Joshua Braun.  The film is produced by Bell together with Yale Productions' Jordan Yale Levine, Jordan Beckerman, Russ Posternak and Jesse Korman, and RainMaker's Clay Pecorin and Russell Geyser.   Executive producers are Seth Posternak and Dennis Rice.  Yale Productions' Jon Keeyes serves as a Co-Producer.

Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (LBC) announced today that it has added two shows to its 2018- 19 lineup-Grammy Award-winning comedian Lewis Black on Sunday, January 20, 2019 and Hollywood medium Tyler Henry on Sunday, March 10, 2019.

Actor, author and critically-acclaimed stand-up comedian Lewis Black returns to the McAninch Arts Center (MAC), located at 425 Fawell Blvd. on the campus of College of DuPage, Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 8 p.m. Black will rant on parents to politics in this engagement that is part of Black's "The Joke's on US Tour." Opening for Black will be special guest John Bowman. This show is recommended for mature audiences.  

The Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival (HSDFF), presented by Mountain Valley Spring Water, announced today that Missi Pyle, an actress with more than 160 film and television credits and Broadway stage experience, will serve as honorary chair for the 2018 Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival, the longest running all documentary film festival in North America.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles (BAFTA Los Angeles) is pleased to announce that actor and comedian Jim Carrey and British actress Emilia Clarke will be honored at the 2018 British Academy Britannia Awards.
