Internationally renowned concert pianist Konstantin Shamray will join the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra for, ‘RHAPSODY’ to be held in the Concert Hall, The Concourse, Chatswood on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 July.

Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra, Dr. Nicholas Milton AM will open the 2024 season with AN EVENING WITH JAMES BOND on 3 & 4 February.

Young Concert Artists has announced the winners of the 2023 Susan Wadsworth International Auditions. The winners will perform in the 2023 Winners Concert on November 12, 2023, at Gilder Lehrman Hall, The Morgan Library & Museum.

The spectacular Willoughby Symphony Orchestra opens its 2023 season with a concert of epic proportions Gala: Heroes of Hollywood with two concerts on Saturday 18 & Sunday 19 February.

Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid, Spain announces the appointment of 2021 American Pianists Awards winner Kenny Broberg as Deputy Professor of the Fundación Banco Santander Piano Chair led by Professor Stanislav Ioudenitch, starting in the 2022-2023 academic year.

The program also features world-renowned German cellist Wolfgang Schmidt as soloist in Dvorak's beloved cello concerto.

Pianist Kenny Broberg comes to Pepperdine University's Raitt Recital Hall at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at the Lisa Smith Wengler Center for the Arts as part of the Recital Series performances of the 2018-2019 season. 

On Saturday 8 September at Verbrugghen Hall, Sydney Conservatorium of Music, five classical and opera singers battled it out for almost $200,000 in prizes & opportunities in the IFAC Handa Australian Singing Competition.

After 8 months of intense preparation and memorable performances the three finalists have been chosen who will battle it out to win the coveted title of ABC YOUNG PERFORMER OF THE YEAR. The three finalists are Kevin Chow from Perth (piano); Emily Sun from Concord West (violin) and Oliver Shermacher from Marrickville (clarinet).

On Sunday 4 June 2017, eleven very impressive young singers competed in the Semi-Finals Concert of the IFAC HANDA AUSTRALIAN SINGING COMPETITION at the Independent Theatre, North Sydney.  The semi-finalists were selected from heats held around the country, in New Zealand and in in London.

Queensland Symphony Orchestra (QSO) continues to hit the high notes, welcoming exciting young Russian-born pianist and conductor Natalia Raspopova as Assistant Conductor. 

Tonight, February 10, through February 12, 2015, EarShot (the National Orchestral Composition Discovery Network) and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra (BPO), JoAnn Falletta, Music Director, will present the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra New Music Readings at Kleinhans Music Hall (3 Symphony Circle, Buffalo).

From February 10-12, 2015, EarShot (the National Orchestral Composition Discovery Network) and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra (BPO), JoAnn Falletta, Music Director, will present the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra New Music Readings at Kleinhans Music Hall (3 Symphony Circle, Buffalo). On Wednesday, February 11 at 7pm at Kleinhans Hall, the public will have the opportunity for a behind-the-scenes look at the process of bringing brand new orchestral works to life, as music by the four selected composers is read by the BPO under the baton of associate conductor, Stefan Sanders. The composers – Cody Forrest, Jay Hurst, Yuan-Chen Li, and Scott Ordway – were selected through a national call for scores, and during the Readings will receive feedback from BPO Musicians, Sanders, and mentor composers Robert Beaser of The Juilliard School and artistic director laureate of American Composers Orchestra, Rob Deemer from SUNY Fredonia, and Pulitzer Prize winner Melinda Wagner. Afterwards, the audience is invited to be a part of a discussion Q&A with the young composers, the conductor, and mentor composers.
