Rialto Chatter: Will Antonio Banderas' Spanish A CHORUS LINE Come to New York?

A new production of A CHORUS LINE is now on stage in Spain, co-directed by and starring Antonio Banderas! Banderas co-directs the production with actress Baayork Lee , who participated in the original Broadway production. According to France24, Banderas has revealed that he hopes to bring this production, performed entirely in Spanish, to New York, after its runs in Malaga, Bilbao, Barcelona, and Madrid.

DOGFIGHT is a marvelous show. This intimate, carefully written musical had its Scandinavian Premiere on Monday night at Riksscenen in Oslo. It shows what musical theatre really can be in its truest form. You don't need huge scenery and big effects. It all depends on great material, strong performers and an inventive creative team. And this is indeed masterfully performed by a very strong ensemble.

An intimate, personal experience in the heart Manhattan, audiences will be led through musical corridors of sonic architecture formed by the human voice.
