The New York Musical Theatre festival, Sound Street Productions & Julie Miller present SHOW CHOIR! - THE MUSICAL, an original musical comedy that takes place in a not too distant future, when international pop phenomenon The Symphonic Sensations rise from a small town high school show choir, to big time show biz success, complete with an explosion of tight harmonies & jazz hands.

On May 7th and 8th 2009, 8:00pm at the Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts, members of PACE University's Musical Theatre program will host an evening of song entitled 'Our Urban Jungle' featuring contemporary musical theatre works by composers Ryan Scot Oliver (2009 Jonathan Larson Grant recipient), Kerrigan & Lowdermilk (2006 Jonathan Larson Grant recipients), Pasek & Paul (2007 Jonathan Larson Award), David Dabbon & Tom Bruett, Drew Fornarola & Scott Elmegreen, Danny Larsen & Michele Elliott, Joshua Salzman & Ryan Cunningham, Jonathan Reid Gealt, Tony Asaro & Vadim Feichner, Gordon Leary & Karlan Judd in benefit to Artists Striving To End Poverty (ASTEP).

Bristol Riverside Announces By The River Poetry Slam Winners

Bristol Riverside Theatre is pleased to announce the winners of their highly successful First-Ever By The River Poetry Slam. The event, held last month, packed over 250 students, parents and friends into the theatre and showcased creative poetry works by 40 high school students from all over the area. Schools represented included Bristol High School, Harry S Truman High School, Burlington City High School, West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South, and Abington Friends School.
