Few things have been as highly anticipated as the national tour of the sweeping hit Hamilton, and now the show has officially kicked off in San Francisco. Check out all-new shots from the touring production below.

The Board of Trustees of the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University along withDiane Paulus, A.R.T. Artistic Director, and Diane Quinn, A.R.T. Executive Director, are pleased to announce that the theater's annual gala raised nearly $1.3M in support of the theater's artistic, community, and education programs. The event was held at the Boch Center Wang Theatre on Monday, February 27, 2017 with nearly 500 supporters from Boston, Los Angeles, and New York in attendance.

Jevon McFerrin, the young actor who has portrayed Alexander Hamilton in Hamilton on Broadway as an alternate to the musical's lead Javier Muñoz, will step into the role effective immediately while Mr. Muñoz takes a medical leave to recover from a physical injury, it has been announced by Hamilton producer Jeffrey Seller.

Producer Jeffrey Seller is thrilled to announce that two-time Tony Award® nominee JOSHUA HENRY, Broadway's MICHAEL LUWYOYE and Tony Award® Nominee RORY O'MALLEY will lead the National Tour of HAMILTONas Aaron Burr, Alexander Hamilton and King George III, respectively. 

This weekend's big news: BLUEPRINT SPECIALS, with Laura Osnes & Will Swenson, begins tonight at the Intrepid, and THE PRESENT, starring Cate Blanchett & Richard Roxburgh, opens on Broadway this Sunday!

Producer Jeffrey Seller has just announced that two-time Tony Award nominee Joshua Henry, Broadway's Michael Luwoye and Tony Award Nominee Rory O'Malley will lead the National Tour of HAMILTON as Aaron Burr, Alexander Hamilton and King George III, respectively.

Alysha Deslorieux, J. Quinton Johnson, Bryan Terrell Clark, Taran Killam and Anthony Lee Medina will join the Broadway cast of Hamilton in principal roles, it has been announced by producer Jeffrey Seller.

Actor and Hollywood Records recording artist, Jordan Fisher makes his Broadway debut in Hamilton when he begins performances as John Laurens and Philip Hamilton tonight, November 22.

This educational partnership, made possible through a $1.46 million grant by The Rockefeller Foundation, is not only providing 20,000 NYC public school students with the opportunity to see HAMILTON on Broadway, but provides educational material by Gilder Lehrman to incorporate material from the musical into the American History curriculum. Tony Award nominee Christopher Jackson will play George Washington in the Broadway production of HAMILTON one last time on Sunday, November 13. Jackson is currently filming CBS-TV's 'Bull' and has recorded an original song written by Lin-Manuel Miranda for the new Disney film Moana in theaters this November. Mr. Jackson originated the role of George Washington and has played the role in HAMILTON since the musical began performances last year at the Public Theater.

After over 300 performances on Broadway, a sold-out run at the Public Theater, eleven Tony Awards, a Grammy Award, a Pulitzer Prize and countless other honors, HAMILTON creator Lin-Manuel Miranda has said goodbye to the role for which he'll be forever remembered. What comes next? The age of Javilton. Javier Muñoz has been the Hamilton alternate dating back to the musical's early development and debut at the Public Theatre in January 2015, as well as throughout the Broadway engagement. Now he has officially taken over the title role- something he has past experience with. He previously took over the role of Usnavi - again, replacing Miranda - in the latter's Tony-winning Best Musical IN THE HEIGHTS.
