THE PRODUCERS runs at Musical Theatre West through February 15th. Michael Kostroff, best known as Maurice Levy in the HBO series The Wire is playing conniving theatrical producer Max Bialystock.

Musical Theatre West is delighted to announce the principal cast for its upcoming Southern California regional premiere of The Producers. Michael Kostroff, best known as Maurice Levy in the HBO series The Wire will play conniving theatrical producer Max Bialystock. Michael traveled the U.S. in the first national tour of The Producers, playing twelve roles a night and understudying both Max Bialystock and Roger De Bris, and toured again in Les Mis?rables, as the comically evil innkeeper, Monsieur Th?nardier.

LA Reprise! presents Li'l Abner through February 17 at the Freud Playhouse at UCLA. The production will be directed by Michael Michetti, choreographed by Lee Martino, and has musical direction by Darryl Archibald.

Reprise! is announcing casting for Li'l Abner - Eric Martsolf will play Abner and Brandi Lynn Burkhardt will play Daisy Mae. They join the previously announced Cathy Rigby (Mammy Yokum) and Fred Willard (Senator Bullmoose). The cast also includes John Ganun as Earthquake McGoon, Michael Kostroff as Marryin' Sam, and Robert Towers as Pappy Yokum.

Reprise! Broadway's Best, headed by artistic director Jason Alexander, announces that Rachel York and Olivia d'Abo are joining Jason Alexander and Martin Short in the staged reading of Neil Simon's The Odd Couple for its two performances January 25 and 26 at the Wadsworth Theatre.

Graham Rowat has joined the cast of Reprise! Broadway's Best's upcoming staged concert presentation of Baby, which will be performed one night only, Monday, February 5 at 8:00pm at the Freud Playhouse at UCLA.
