2019 was a roller coaster year for CRO-MAGS founder, bassist and vocalist Harley Flanagan. From regaining sole ownership of the band name he created, to playing with his childhood friends in the re-united Misfits, CRO-MAGS took their punk-fueled legacy across the US and Europe, released their first music video in 27 years, and put out their first music in nearly 20 years via two EPs - Don't Give In (released in June) and From The Grave (available today). The three song EP is available on limited 7 inch editions of clear w/ black smoke, solid yellow, clear orange and glow in the dark vinyl. Flanagan gives a track by track breakdown below.

The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute® (Anna Strasberg, Artistic Director) will host its 50th Anniversary Celebration, “THE NEXT 50 YEARS,” on Monday, November 4, 2019 in the Rosenthal Pavilion overlooking Washington Square Park at New York University (60 Washington Square South). The celebration is a gala benefit for The Lee Strasberg Creative Center®, which has provided scholarships to students for 42 years. The evening will be hosted by Honorary Co-Chairs Alec Baldwin and Marlo Thomas, with Mr. Baldwin making a special award presentation to renowned teacher Geoffrey Horne. The program will also feature appearances by Ellen Burstyn, and Renée Taylor.

Indie film icon John Gallagher will be honored by HeartShare Charities with the Linda Dano Heart Award at their annual spring gala on March 21, 2019 at the Ziegfeld Ballroom. The award honors a celebrity who has demonstrated the highest commitment to the betterment of the lives of at-risk populations, particularly those with intellectual/ developmental disabilities and/or children and youth. Founded in 1914, HeartShare is a leading charity with diverse social and medical programs.

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Best Wishes, the second album by pioneering hardcore band Cro-Mags, vocalist/bassist Harley Flanagan will tour performing a set with “the best” from Best Wishes, plus other songs from all over Cro-Mags' career. “Alex, Inc.” (8:30-9:00 p.m. – 4.6 million and 1.1/5 in AD18-49): Despite debuting against the 2 nd half-hours of Fox's “Empire” return and NBC's “The Voice” special at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, ABC's “Alex, Inc.” delivered improved audience retention of its “The Goldbergs” lead-in week to week in Total Viewers (85% vs. 81%) and Adults 18-49 (79% vs. 75%). In fact with Total Viewers, “Alex, Inc.” delivered season-best retention for ABC in the half-hour.

The ABC Television Network has announced midseason premiere dates for the new dramas The Crossing, Deception, For The People and the Grey's Anatomy spinoff, as well as new comedies Alex, Inc. and Splitting Up Together. Additionally, American Idol will air Sundays and Mondays, beginning March 11. Dates have also been set for the premiere of Dancing with the Stars All-Athletes Edition and the return of Quantico.
