BWW Review: THE THREE MUSKETEERS at Mary Moody Northen Theatre
by Jesse Griffith
- Feb 20, 2019
The Alexandre Dumas classic The Three Musketeers has been told, retold, produced and reimagined in countless ways in its 175-year history. This production is a marvelous retelling of the story from playwright Megan Monaghan Rivas with what I would term a gender-blend cast (versus gender-blind). It is a tight, witty and thoroughly entertaining revisit of this timeless tale.

by Melissa Giordano
- Jul 19, 2018
The incarnation of Bullets Over Broadway, The Musical at Oakdale's Noel S. Ruiz Theatre at CM Performing Arts Center (CMPAC), is certainly an enjoyable one. Strongly directed by CMPAC Artistic Director Patrick Grossman, the Long Island premiere, running through August 11th, spectacularly closes out the venue's thrilling 42nd season. And let me tell you this cast is absolutely wonderful.

BWW Previews: TEATRO GRATTACIELO Celebrates 20th Anniversary at Skirball Center For Performing Arts
by Peter Danish
- Nov 17, 2014
On Tuesday night, November 18, NYU's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts will be the scene of an opera-lover's dream come true. As the Met continues to try to find ways to keep audiences engaged; trudging through tacky new productions of classic repertory and mediocre production of mediocre new works, Teatro Grattacielo has quietly shown that there is another way.

BWW Reviews: Nashville Opera's RIGOLETTO
by Jeffrey Ellis
- Apr 12, 2010
Rife with corruption and intrigue, teeming with forbidden love and deception, Giuseppe Verdi's Rigoletto is among the most often performed operas in America - and Nashville Opera closes out its 2009-2010 season with a beautifully designed and sumptuously mounted production of the Italian masterpiece in Andrew Jackson Hall at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center. Yet, as exquisite as its physical trappings are, Nashville Opera's Rigoletto may be even more impressive in its artful musicality: it is rapturously sung by a deft blending of talented newcomers to the Nashville stage.
