Opera House Theatre Company will present RAGTIME, the American epic set in the early 1900's following three families as they navigate their own versions of 'the American dream.'

The San Diego Symphony will celebrate its opening weekend with 'The Best of Broadway,' on August 7th featuring Broadway luminaries Megan Hilty, Norm Lewis, Kelli O'Hara and Adrienne Warren.

The Actors Fund announced today that Grammy nominated songwriter and piano sensation Jim Brickman will be taking the nation by storm this holiday season with Brickman for Broadway Christmas Live. All proceeds from the virtual concert on November 28 at 8 pm ET and the album sales will benefit The Actors Fund.

Producer Mark Cortale announced today that award-winning stars of the stage and screen Norm Lewis, Megan Hilty, and Cheyenne Jackson will join the line-up of talent slated to participate in The Seth Concert Series, the weekly virtual series based on Seth Rudetsky's international Broadway series that began at The Art House in Provincetown.

The legendary composer's music was celebrated in a free concert on the festival's mainstage by Tony Award nominee Megan Hilty (Smash, the Kennedy Center's Little Shop of Horrors), Adam Jacobs (Aladdin, The Lion King), Tony Award nominee Norm Lewis (The Little Mermaid, the Kennedy Center's The Music Man), Tony Award winner Patina Miller (Sister Act, Pippin), the National Symphony Orchestra, and Principal Pops Conductor Steven Reineke.

This Halloween, Monday October 31st, 42 Seven Productions in conjunction with IndieFork, and W NY Times Square bring a new Halloween experience to life. The Broadway Artists Connection (BAC) All Stars Benefit for CAT Youth Theatre on Monday, November 14th (7pm) at the Laurie Beechman Theatre is BAC's biggest & final event of the season!  The evening hosted by Antoine L. Smith (THE COLOR PURPLE) will feature many Broadway favorites with a combined 34 Broadway credits (listed below), BAC's 2016 open mic winners & a performance by the students of CAT Youth Theatre.

Tickets go on sale on Monday, August 1, for Opera Philadelphia's 2016-2017 Season, including two September productions: the World Premiere of Breaking the Waves, composer Missy Mazzoli's opera inspired by Lars von Trier's searing Oscar-nominated 1996 film; and Puccini's grand Turandot starring soprano Christine Goerke in the title role. Tickets are also available for a series of special fall events surrounding these productions, including lectures, recitals, film screenings, brunches, backstage tours, and social events. Opera fans can also choose their seats for two spring productions at the Academy of Music: Rossini's Tancredi (February 2017), featuring star mezzo Stephanie Blythe's highly anticipated first appearance in the title role; and a new production of Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro (April–May 2017).
