Eryc Taylor Dance (ETD), Eryc Taylor, Artistic Director, announced today an expansion of the company's ETD OUTREACH PROGRAM Movement Expression Workshops, which assist chemotherapy patients, individuals in supportive housing and organizations offering integrated behavioral health care and support services. The Workshop programs use dance as a tool to inspire, heal, and build communities, while serving to improve participants' physical and mental health.

The American Dance Festival's (ADF) 2017 season continues with the ADF debut of Sean Dorsey Dance today, July 5 and Thursday, July 6 at 8:00pm at Reynolds Industries Theater.

DANCE NOW is pleased to announce the lineup for the 2017 DANCE NOW Festival. Acclaimed for its adventurous short-takes format, the annual DANCE NOW Festival presents an eclectic array of works by some of today's most exciting dance makers. The 22nd season of this exuberant showcase will feature 40 emerging and established choreographers side by side, including DANCE NOW veterans and festival newcomers. The 2017 festival will take place Wednesday to Saturday, September 6-9, at 7pm, at Joe's Pub at The Public. A special encore performance will be presented on Thursday, September 28, at 7pm.

The 2017 Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival 2017, the first programmed exclusively by new Director Pamela Tatge, is full of exciting programming featuring world premieres, commissions, site-specific work, international artists, live music, and Pillow-exclusive engagements, all to celebrate a momentous 85th Anniversary Season. Running June 21-August 27, Festival 2017 includes more than 200 free events, performances, exhibits, and talks, as well as many new offerings and initiatives launched under Tatge's leadership. Dance Now continues its Dance-mopolitan Series with the premiere of Places Please!, an evening-length duet created and performed by longtime collaborators Larry Keigwin and Nicole Wolcott of KEIGWIN + COMPANY.

Necessary Exposure: The Female Playwright Project (on view Feb 7- March 8 2017) is a series of photographic portraits and sound installations that bring visibility to and amplify playwrights who identify as female. The third in a series, this current installation explores what it means to be writing for the theater as a woman at this moment in history.

Commissioned and produced by DANCE NOW, National Intimacy Month is a collaboration between performance duo Chelsea and Magda, choreographer/dancers Bryan Strimpel and Shaina Branfman of B.S. Movement, and choreographer Raja Feather Kelly and his troupe, the feath3r theory. Combining choreography, improvisation, text, live podcasting, and sketch comedy, the work explores the role of intimacy in the creative process and in performance. The cute and the aggressive, the familiar and unknown, the popular and the underrated-all come into play in dynamic, surprising, and humorous ways, complete with commercial breaks and apple pie.

Strengthening its role as a center for artist research and development, Jacob's Pillow Dance announces an active, year-round season with its expanded 2016-2017 Creative Development Residency program. This season brings new additions to the program including two technical residencies, cross-genre collaborations, and invited audiences of college students, as well as a diverse roster of 10 artist residencies, the Pillow's largest residency season yet.

Eryc Taylor Dance will present the US premiere of seven new choreographic works in celebration of the company's 10th Anniversary, Friday, October 21, and Saturday, October 22nd at Martha Graham Center for Contemporary Dance, 55 Bethune Street (Greenwich Village) in New York City. Each dance piece will feature an independent narrative, choreographed by Mr. Taylor as well as by company members.

Puppet theatre artists Margarita Blush and Betsy Tobin who have collaborated on their respective productions over the course of the last seven years will share a one-night-only billing at Dixon Place in lower Manhattan tonight, October 12 at 7:30pm.

On October 24, the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation (SDC Foundation) will celebrate the 27th Annual Joe A. Callaway Award winners for Direction and Choreography at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. The evening will be hosted by former Callaway Award-winning Jack O'Brien and Callaway Award finalist Joshua Bergasse.
