Claudia Moore, Artistic Director of MOonhORsE Dance Theatre, proudly presents the 36th edition of Older & Reckless, “a gem in the Toronto dance scene” (Michael Crabb, Toronto Star). Older & Reckless #36: 3 Solos & A Duet features five distinctive Toronto-based artists - Julia Aplin, Tiina Kiik, Sara Porter, Laurence Lemieux and Joanna de Souza- in daring new dance works, November 13-15, 2015 at Dancemakers Centre for Creation.

Y Cabaret is a pilot performance program at the 14th St Y premiering this November 2nd and 3rd , curating seven New York based contemporary choreographers in an intimate evening of drinks and dance. Pieces range from sensual solos, to larger athletic modern works, and to a new dance-theater interpretation of the musical Sweeney Todd.

From JOE INK and celebrated Vancouver Choreographer Joe Laughlin comes the world premiere 4OUR, on stage at the Scotiabank Dance Centre this weekend, October 1 - 3, 2015 at 8pm, with a preview performance September 30. Brought to life by the exquisite talents of dance artists Gioconda Barbuto, Heather Dotto, Kevin Tookey, and Laughlin, this deeply personal and visually striking new creation will explore family dynamics, cross-generational relationships, and the singular moments that shape our lives.

The theatre/dance piece is inspired by the life of Pearl S. Buck.

'Pearl' will be presented at Lincoln Center's David H. Koch Theater through Sunday, August 30th. This spectacular dance theater presentation pays honor and tribute to the life of Pearl S. Buck.

Pearl (www.PearlTheShow.com), a new American-Chinese dance-theatre spectacular, inspired by the life of Pearl S. Buck, the first woman to win both the Nobel and the Pulitzer Prizes, will have its world premiere at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center for 4 performances only, August 27-30th. The story, focusing on the substantial influence Pearl had on both Chinese and Western cultures, will be brought to life through new choreography by Daniel Ezralow (Ezralow Dance Company, MOMIX, Sochi Olympics Opening Ceremony, Academy Awards), a new score composed by Jun Miyake (collaborations with Robert Wilson, Pina Bausch, David Byrne and Oliver Stone) dazzling visuals and a company of 30 American and Chinese dancers.

Theatre East and Yale Alumni Association of New York will present Elizabeth Parrish with the Laurette Taylor Award tonight, May 28th at Ramscale Studio South, 463 West Street, in the West Village Highline district, NYC. The benefit starts at 7pm with an exclusive cocktail reception, followed by dinner at 8pm. The award will be presented to Ms. Parrish by Kate Mulgrew (Orange is the New Black). The ceremony will include tributes by alumna Meryl Streep and the Stella Adler Studio's Artistic Director, Tom Oppenheim.

Coleman Lemieux & Compagnie (CLC) proudly presents Elvis and the Man in Black, a double bill featuring James Kudelka'sacclaimed The Man in Black and the world premiere of Looking for Elvis, choreographed by CLC Co-Artistic Director Laurence Lemieux. Elvis & The Man in Black runs at the Mimi Herrndorf Studio Theatre at The Citadel, Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8pm from today, May 21-31.
