The new Broadway musical, Next to Normal, which has been nominated for 11 Tony Awards including Best Musical, celebrated the retail release of their Original Cast Recording with an in-store performance and CD signing at Barnes and Noble Lincoln Center (1972 Broadway at 66th Street) on Tuesday, May 12th at 4:00p.m.

Ghostlight Records confirms yesterday's digital release of the Original Broadway Cast Recording of the critically acclaimed new musical NEXT TO NORMAL. The 4/7 digital release, which has already reached #20 on iTunes, will be followed by a Double-CD brick-and-mortar retail release on May 12th.

J. ROBERT SPENCER, one of the stars of the new Broadway musical NEXT TO NORMAL, will receive an Honorary Doctorate of Fine Arts from his alma mater, Shenandoah University. Spencer is a 1991 cum laude graduate of Shenandoah Conservatory's musical theatre program.

Next to Normal star Aaron Tveit will guest star on the Monday, March 23 episode of 'Gossip Girl.' Tveit plays Tripp Vanderbilt, the cousin of Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford). 'Gossip Girl' airs at 8:00p.m. on The CW (channel 11 in NYC).

Nederlander, Barbara Whitman, Patrick Catullo, and Second Stage Theatre have announced that the upcoming Broadway musical, NEXT TO NORMAL, will play Broadway's Booth Theatre instead of the previously announced Longacre Theatre. Previews will still begin on Friday, March 27 and opening night remains Wednesday, April 15. The Booth Theatre is located at 222 West 45th street.
