On this very special evening, the series will reach the milestone of having celebrated the talents of over 1000 diffeent peformers in its history. Hosted by series Producing Artistic Director and Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis, the popular series allows performers to showcase their versatility and share anecdotes about their experiences.

A new Evan is waving through a window at the Music Box Theatre! As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Andrew Barth Feldman, the 16-year-old winner of the Best Actor Award at the 2018 National High School Musical Theatre Awards (known more commonly as the Jimmy Awards), just made his Broadway debut as 'Evan Hansen' last night, January 30, 2019.

kef theatrical productions is thrilled to announce the upcoming second season of THE BLUESTONE PROJECT - a new play reading series created and curated by Ben Bartolone. The four readings will be presented between January and April of 2019 at A.R.T./New York's performance space in Manhattan. Building on the work of the first season, season 2 will again present one-night-only free readings of new, never-produced plays that address the shifting socio-political American landscape.

Artists for World Peace, a nonprofit organization, will host its 8th annual Broadway event on Sunday, February 17th, at The Green Room 42, 570 10th Avenue, Manhattan, New York. Doors open at 7:45 pm, show begins at 8:30 pm. Dinner is available.

According to Deadline, Dear Evan Hansen will soon be adapted for the big screen! The Tony winning musical will be produced by Marc Platt and Adam Siegel, with creators Benj Pasek and Justin Paul expected to executive produce. Steven Levenson, who won a Tony Award for his book, will write the screenplay.

Dear Evan Hansen producer Stacey Mindich has just announced today that Andrew Barth Feldman, the 16-year-old winner of the Best Actor Award at the 2018 National High School Musical Theatre Awards (known more commonly as the Jimmy Awards), will make his Broadway debut as 'Evan Hansen' on January 30, 2019. Feldman - who is currently a high school junior at Lawrence Woodmere Academy in Woodmere, New York - takes over the role from Taylor Trensch, who plays his final performance on January 27, 2019 after a year in the title role. Original Broadway cast member Michael Lee Brown will continue his run as the 'Evan' alternate.

An array of talent from Broadway and stage will join composer Stephen Schwartz for a special concert titled 'Orphaned Songs for Orphaned Starfish.' The 7:00 pm event on Monday, November 19th, and held at The Cutting Room, 44 East 32nd Street, NYC benefits The Orphaned Starfish Foundation www.osf.org. It features an evening of unsung and new songs as well as hits by Stephen Schwartz.
