On December 22nd, at 3:30 pacific time, choreographer, Robert Tucker passed away. Mr. Tucker was not only an integral piece of the Broadway community, but a Tony Award nominee for Shenandoah. He was the right hand to Bob Fosse and Jerome Robbins.

St. George Theatre to stage 13th Annual Christmas Show

Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston Presents REMEMBERING THE '40S

Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston will take audiences on a sentimental trip down memory lane with the revival of Remembering the 40's on October 1-2, 2016, Reagle's original musical revue recalling the 1940's home front.  Featuring a talented cast of singers, dancers and actors, live music and period costumes, Remembering the 40's is a cherished tribute to the war generation.  Sentimental repertoire from the era includes "I'll Be Home for Christmas," "I'll Be Seeing You," "This Is the Army" and "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy". Remembering the 40's is Directed by Robert J. Eagle, Choreographed by Susan M. Chebookjian, with Music Direction by Paul S. Women in Theatre and Screen Announces Programming for Australia's First Women's Theatre Festival

Women in Theatre and Screen (WITS) is thrilled to reveal Festival Fatale's inaugural program on 22 August, 7pm at Cake Wines, hosted by Variety Fair. Six staged productions, four play readings and 11 cabaret acts will be announced, making up a twoday theatre festival celebrating female-driven theatre works on 29 and 30 October at the Eternity Playhouse.

Marilyn Horne to Lead Series of Master Classes & Recitals at Carnegie Hall in January

From January 19 to 23, Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Institute (WMI) presents The Song Continues, an annual series led by renowned mezzo-soprano Marilyn Horne, exploring song repertoire through master classes and concerts with the goal of encouraging, supporting, and preserving the art of the vocal recital. The series concludes with the Marilyn Horne Song Celebration, a recital featuring special guest artist soprano Nina Stemme on Saturday, January 23 at 7:30 p.m. in Zankel Hall. The evening's concert also features performances by soprano Julia Bullock, mezzo-soprano Daniela Mack, tenor Andrew Haji, bass-baritone Evan Hughes, and pianists John Arida, Keun-A Lee, Ken Noda, and Jennifer Szeto.
