Westport Country Playhouse will stage a new adaption of the classic suspense thriller of blackmail and revenge, “Dial M for Murder,” July 11 through July 29, adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher, from the original play by Frederick Knott, and directed by Mark Lamos, Playhouse artistic director. The production will be Lamos’ final directing work at the Playhouse prior to his planned retirement in January 2024 after 15 seasons as artistic director. See photos and video of the production.

Westport Country Playhouse will stage a new adaption of the classic suspense thriller of blackmail and revenge, “Dial M for Murder,” July 11 through July 29.

Hartford Stage is presenting a remarkable and courageous New England premiere: Christine Quintana's bilingual play, Espejos/Clean. The play gives us two very different women: Adriana, from Chetumal, Mexico, who speaks Spanish and a bit of English, and Sarah, from Vancouver, who speaks only English.

Next up at Syracuse Stage is Espejos: Clean, written by Christine Quintana and performed in both English and Spanish with respective supertitles simultaneously, running February 15 to March 5, 2023. In cooperation with Hartford Stage, Espejos: Clean is directed by Syracuse Stage Associate Artistic Director Melissa Crespo both in Hartford, CT and Syracuse, NY.

Hartford Stage will present the New England premiere of the bilingual drama Espejos: Clean written by Christine Quintana with Spanish translation and adaptation by Paula Zelaya Cervantes.

DIAL M FOR MURDER brings some modern touches, and a sly intelligence to this adaption, commissioned by The Old Globe.  A smart script, skillful and subtle performances, and some twists bring a new life to this classic murder mystery through August 28th.  

 Nathan Darrow stars as Tony Wendice, the married man who is convinced that his wife had an affair, and as his jealousy and obsession escalate so does the danger in The Old Globe'sworld premiere adaption of DIAL M FOR MURDER - playing through August 28th.

Dial M for Murder is now playing at the Old Globe, set to open on July 28. The play, by Frederick Knott, was adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher, and directed by Stafford Arima. Check out an exclusive first look at the production in these photos.

Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park will bring Truvy's beauty salon to the Marx Theatre stage beginning March 19 with the production STEEL MAGNOLIAS.
