Disney's Aladdin, the hit Broadway musical, will welcome new stars to both the Broadway and North American tour casts.

Fourteen year old Ajibola Tajudeen, better known as Keeme, is the host of New Paradigm Theatre's web series now in it's third season here on BroadwayWorld. Jamibeth Margolis has been a  professional casting director in New York for 20 years. She was with Johnson-Liff Casting, Cameron Mackintosh, and Margolis-Seay Casting and is now out on her own as a freelance casting director. Previous credits include the Broadway and National Touring Companies of such hits as Les Miserables, The Phantom Of The Opera, Miss Saigon, Cats, and Jane Eyre as well as two dozen other shows on Broadway. She also currently casts for Off Broadway, National Touring Companies and shows for prominent regional theaters and all of the major theater festivals in NYC. Her casting office is dedicated to the development of new plays and musicals. For the last five years, the New Amsterdam Theatre has been all about magic lamps, carpet rides, princes, thieves and genies! That's because Disney's Aladdin, which opened in 2014, has played well over 2000 performances there. 

Playhouse on Park's education department, Playhouse Theatre Academy, not only offers classes for young actors this summer, but also for adults ages 16 and up who have a vested interest in the performing arts. Playhouse on Park's education department, Playhouse Theatre Academy, is thrilled to welcome Juwan Crawley for The Characters In Me as a part of its Adult Master Class Series on Monday, July 29 from 6:30-8:30pm at The 224 Ecospace! All performers (ages 16 and up!) who have a vested interest in the performing arts are encouraged to attend this amazing class.

To celebrate the 5th anniversary of Aladdin on Broadway, five current and former Genies stopped the show following yesterday's matinee to perform a medley of Aladdin hits. The five Genies included Tony Award winner James Monroe Iglehart, current star Michael James Scott, tour Genie Major Attaway, and current Broadway Genie standbys Juwan Crawley and Deonte L. Warren.
