A strong play, well-directed by Lavina Jadhwani, that features a bravura turn by Terri Weagant as Norma McCorvey, a.k.a. 'Jane Roe.'

Asolo Rep will host Inside Asolo Rep: SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE and MORNING AFTER GRACE on Wednesday, January 31 at 11am, with refreshments at 10:30am. This insightful special behind-the-scenes panel will feature Peter Amster, Director of MORNING AFTER GRACE, Jordan Brown, Will Shakespeare in SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE and Henry McClusky/Robert Flowers/Abortion Doctor/Ensemble in ROE, Catherine Smitko, Abigail in MORNING AFTER GRACE and Nurse in SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE, and Rex Willis, Musician in SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE. The discussion will be moderated by Asolo Rep Dramaturg and Literary Manager Paul Adolphsen.

Television actor and Broadway vet Anthony Rapp will perform at Harboring Hearts 6th Annual Benefit Gala on November 6 at the Samuel B. & David Rose Building at Lincoln Center. The annual benefit honors outstanding individuals for their contributions in cardiac care.

Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief today announced that more than $55,000,000 was raised from the one-hour telethon special, which aired on Tuesday, September 12. The much needed funds will go to aid people affected by both Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

Houston native rapper Bun B has teamed up with SB Projects founder Scooter Braun to present HAND IN HAND: A BENEFIT FOR HURRICANE HARVEY RELIEF telethon to aid those affected by Hurricane Harvey.

The Skivvies will return to Chicago!  This weekend (April 30th at 8pm & Monday, May 1st at 8pm) the comedy-pop, undie rock band is set to play the Uptown Underground.

Northlight Theatre, under the direction of Artistic Director BJ Jones and Executive Director Timothy J. Evans, presents the Midwest Premiere of By the Water, written by Sharyn Rothstein and directed by Cody Estle.  By the Water runs March 16 - April 23, 2017 at Northlight Theatre, 9501 Skokie Blvd in Skokie.
