Theatre Raymond Kabbaz to Present DANS LA PEAU D'UN NOIR, May 14-15

Theatre Raymond Kabbaz (TRK), the performance space at Le Lycee Francais de Los Angeles, is pleased to present multi-talented French actress Clementine Celarie in the U.S. Premiere of Dans la Peau d'un Noir (Black Like Me) on Wednesday, May 14, and Thursday, May 15, 2014. The one-woman show is based on American journalist John Howard Griffin's 1961 book, Black Like Me, adapted by Celarie into a live performance. Celarie will portray an African-American man in the production that promotes tolerance and humanism.
Author Ward Jones Releases His Novel, “The Way Up”

Author Ward Jones is proud to announce the recent release of his novel "The Way Up." "The Way Up" is a literary fiction novel that depicts the life and struggle of a young law school graduate as he searches to find and keep a good job and a girl he can love after hating his father for so long. About The Author
In Ward Jones' description of the novel, "The Way Up," he states 'This working class boy, John Howard, became as real as any character I've written or read.' The author was a lawyer and has been writing novels and short stories since 1995. Five more novels followed and a number of short stories, two were published in the Audience Literary Journal and The Dead Mule School of Southern Literature. He lives in Houston with his wife Shelby.

Megan Bryant took it upon herself to create and do the arrangements for the First Annual IDAHO LAUGH FEST, with the help of a few local comedians. They should all be commended for putting together such a GREAT comedy filled event.
