Ringwald Theatre Presents FLOWERS UP HER ATTIC, 10/13-29

The Ringwald Theatre continues its "Season of Family" with the world premiere of Flowers Up Her Attic, a tale of ultimate family betrayal and secrets!. Local playwright Marke Sobolewski (Fu$$ the Holidays, The Real Housewives of the North Pole) has teamed up with Ringwald artistic director Joe Bailey to create a campy, hilarious, ultimately loving (and unauthorized) parody of V. C. Andrews torrid, beloved book, Flowers in the Attic.

The Ringwald Theatre is proud to announce the 3rd installment of its wildly popular Gay Play Series (GPS). Last year's outing was attended by hundreds of people over a ten day festival period. This year the program will run over two consecutive weekends that will feature a one-time only event, music shows and, at the centerpiece, performances of 11 new, one act LGBT plays.

Ringwald Theatre Begins The Wendy Chronicles this Month

The Ringwald Theatre will pay special tribute to Pulitzer prize-winning playwright Wendy Wasserstein with The Wendy Chronicles, a series of staged readings of her best known plays. Beginning in January and continuing through the coming months, four of her plays will be presented as a way of examining the arc of her career and the special impact she had on the theatre community. Wasserstein, whose works portrayed the challenging and complex lives of contemporary women, died on Jan. 30, 2006 of lymphoma.
