The Boxmasters, the one-of-a-kind eclectic band whose many musical influences come together to create their own unique sound, has signed with APA. Their upcoming fourth album, entitled Somewhere Down The Road, is set to be released later this year. The band is comprised of Teddy Andreadis, who has shared the stage with such legendary artists as Guns N' Roses, Carole King, Alice Cooper, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley and B.B. King, has also served as a long-time counselor/mentor at Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy camps, and released his solo album, 'Innocent Loser,' in 2012; Grammy-winning engineer, J.D. Andrew, whose worked with such icons as The Rolling Stones, Guy Clark and Kanye West; Nashville singer/songwriter Brad Davis, who has shared the microphone with the likes of Merle Haggard, Sheryl Crow and Kenny Rogers; and Bud (a.k.a. Billy Bob) Thornton who, in addition to his successful film and television career, has recorded four solo albums, as well as tribute records to Earl Scruggs and June Carter Cash.

Jim Henson's key collaborator and one of the original Muppet performers, Jerry Nelson's life and work will be celebrated today, October 27, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. in cooperation with The Jim Henson Legacy and Museum of the Moving Image. Mr. Nelson passed away on August 23, 2012 at his home in Truro, Massachusetts.

People.com reports that puppeteer Jerry Nelson, the voice behind the beloved Sesame Street character 'The Count', has died at age 78. The news of his death from 'unspecified causes' was released by CBC Radio-Canada.
