Initial casting has been announced for Feinstein's/54 Below's BROADHURST AT 100!, a centennial celebration of the Broadhurst Theatre, today, August 16th, 2017, at 7:00pm & 9:30pm.

Tony Award winners Alice Ripley (Next to Normal), Judy Kaye (The Phantom of the Opera), Wayne Cilento (Wicked), and more, have joined the Broadhurst Theatre's centennial birthday bash at Feinstein's/54 Below Wednesday, August 16th, 2017, at 7:00 pm & 9:30 pm.  

This August, Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond. Scroll down for details!

The event, which honors the work of the state's professional theaters, was held at Sacred Heart University's Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts June 26. Three-time Tony Award-nominee Terrence Mann was master of ceremonies.

THE UNTOLD STORIES OF BROADWAY, VOLUME 3 from Dress Circle Publishing - the latest in a series by acclaimed historian and producer Jennifer Ashley Tepper - has announced the 23 professionals featured in the upcoming book, which range from legendary Tony Award-winning performers to other disciplines throughout the theater world.

Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) will stage Monty Python's Spamalot, the Tony Award winning musical comedy with book and lyrics by Eric Idle, music by John Du Prez and Eric Idle as the final show of its 2015-2016 season. The show is directed by Richard Ruiz. Performances will be held in the Harriet S. Jorgenson Theatre from April 21 - May 1, 2016. Comedy legend Larry David returned once again to Saturday Night Live last night as Bernie Sanders. This time, David's Sanders was eager to apologize on behalf of his supporters, saying, 'I want to thank everyone for voting for me and apologize to everyone else for making your Facebook feeds so, so annoying. I mean, I love my supporters, but they're too much, right?' Watch the full video here!

Larry David made his SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE hosting debut on the February 6th telecast of NBC's iconic late-night franchise. David, the co-creator of the series 'Seinfeld' and creator/star of 'Curb Your Enthusiasm,' was an 'SNL' writer during the show's 10th season.

In true SNL fashion, the show cast Larry David as Sendator Bernie Sanders in last night's cold opening.

Barefoot Theatre Company celebrated the 2015 Vassallo Awards with a Spring Gala at the American Ballroom Theater in Manhattan. The ceremony, hosted by VH1's Ellie Lee, honored artistic achievement as well as mentorship and educational outreach to the younger generation of artists in memory of Ed Vassallo. Vassallo's career spanned 20 years and included work producing for the LAByrinth Theatre Company and volunteering with the 52nd Street Project.

Tony Award-winning actor Jason Alexander recently assumed the role of 'Norman Drexel' in Larry David's hit comedy Fish In the Dark, directed by Anna D. Shapiro, at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street). Alexander steps into the role created by David in the comedy about a death in the family. On Monday, June 22, Barefoot Theatre Company celebrates the second annual Vassallo Awards with a Spring Gala beginning at 7:15 pm at the American Ballroom Theater on 25 West 31st Street in Manhattan. Actress Anna Chlumsky (VEEP) and playwright Stephen Adly Guirgis (Riverside and Crazy) are among those honored for artistic achievements.
