The Beautiful Dark, a world premiere by Erik Gernand and directed by Josh Altman, is extending 1 week to September 8, 2013. The show plays Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays at 7:30pm; Sundays at 3pm. The Beautiful Dark must close September 8.

This will be the Chicago premiere of Reverb, a darkly comic, brutal dissection of the deadly force of wrath in the playwright's cycle of the Seven Deadly Sins, featuring Redtwist company member and two-time, Jeff Award-winner, Peter Oyloe.

Clay Sanderson as mystery man, Purdy, and Nicky Roget-King as Carla's son, Thor, are the needy men who complicate her teetering world.
