It is today announced that James Morrison will join the line-up for Strictly Come Dancing's Pasha Kovalev and long-term dance partner, Anya Garnis' second annual Rise Up With The Arts - a streamed trans-Atlantic celebration of the theatre industry with performances and interviews interlaced across the evening of 27th March.

CONNECTIONS will feature new or adapted works by playwrights: Luis Alfaro, Jon Robin Baitz, Father Greg Boyle, Bill Cain, Culture Clash, Stephen Adly Guirgis, Danai Gurira, Samuel D. Hunter, David Henry Hwang, Julia Izumi, James Morrison and his son Seamus Morrison, Jeanine Tesori and Charlayne Woodard. Performers include Brian Cox, Eileen Galindo, Tzi Ma, Rose Portillo, Samantha Quan, John C. Reilly, Israel López Reyes, Nikkole Salter, Jimmy Smits, and Phillipa Soo; as well as some of the playwrights performing their own pieces.

Page 73 has announced details of its virtual 2021 Spring Benefit. James Jackson, Jr. and John-Andrew Morrison, stars of Michael R. Jackson's Pulitzer Prize-winning, Page 73-co-produced musical A Strange Loop, will host the event, which streams free of charge on Page 73's YouTube Channel on Thursday, June 10, at 8pm EST.

The Ojai Playwrights Conference is presenting “Connections,” a virtual celebration to benefit the OPC 2021 season, on Saturday, June 12 at 5 p.m. Pacific Time/ 8 p.m. Eastern Time. A minimum donation of $20 is requested to watch this special 90-minute show.

This was largely due to the artistic chemistry between Janes and British producer and songwriter, Zak Lloyd, whose resume of work includes artists such as Calum Scott, Charli XCX, and James Morrison, and is credited as a co-writer on the track.

The talk show, which began as live Instagram phone conversations held between the two, where they interviewed each other, has recently expanded in format.
