Fireman Rodney Scott made his first appearance on the NTC stage on December 5, opening night for 'Annie,' which is 'one of the most family friendly shows we've done in a long time,' said Artistic Director Tony Daniel.

Dover Little Theatre, 69 Elliot Street, Dover, NJ will present its second show of the 81st season, 'Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!)' written by Michael Carleton, James FitzGerald, and John K. Alvarez with original music by Will Knapp.

Justin McCombs and Sara Clark, both now eighth year veterans of the company, return to poke fun at the holiday season, joined by Billy Chace, a seventh year company member. Miranda McGee, fifth year company member, returns to put her own special spin on Santa. CSC Artistic Associate, Jeremy Dubin, returns to the director's chair. This production is one of the most popular events in Cincinnati Shakespeare Company history breaking attendance and sales records every year. Renowned Oscar Wilde expert Alan Stanford, PICT's interim Producing Artistic Director, will direct his adaptation of the great Irish playwright's comedy, Lady Windermere's Fan. Wilde's play, first produced in 1892 in London, satirizes the morality of Victorian society. Stanford has moved the setting forward in time to 1947; in post-World-War II London, Wilde's language and ridicule of high-society still resonate. Oscar Wilde was not so much a writer of polite English comedy, but rather a biting Irish satirist who lampooned the social absurdities and prejudices of the English upper classes, prejudices that lasted well into the Twentieth Century. This production, which runs tonight, July 11 through July 27, is PICT's third show of the season, and features a cast of 17 actors.

MCC THEATER today announced that James Badge Dale (World War Z, HBO's The Pacific), James Ransone (HBO's 'The Wire') will replace Jon Bernthal and Christopher Fitzgerald in the New York Premiere of John Pollono's celebrated Small Engine Repair. Keegan Allen ('Pretty Little Liars') has also joined the cast. Small Engine Repair is the comic thriller that premiered to rave reviews and sold-out audiences at L.A.'s Rogue Machine Theatre, where it won the Los Angeles Drama Critics Award for Playwriting, among many other honors. The New York production of Small Engine Repair will be directed by longtime MCC collaborator Jo Bonney (MCC's The Break of Noon, Some Girl(s), Fat Pig) and begins at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC) on October 30, 2013. An official opening night is set for November 18, 2013.

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company has announced its 2013-2014 20th Anniversary Season schedule. All productions will feature Cincinnati Shakespeare Company's Resident Company of Artists. On February 9, Newnan Theatre Company presented its 2013 Gala, NTC's celebration of its 2013/2014 season opening. Season ticket holders and guests were treated to drinks, hors d'oeuvres and desserts. They participated in a silent auction of an intriguing array of items, profits to benefit the theatre, and they were given an opportunity to renew or purchase season memberships at discount prices.
