Los Angeles audiences will have a variety of ways to enjoy the electrifying production of “Ain't Too Proud – The Life and Times of The Temptations,” one of the most popular and record-breaking shows in Center Theatre Group / Ahmanson Theatre history. This joyful story of brotherhood, family, and loyalty will play December 13, 2022 through January 1, 2023 with an opening night on December 15, 2022.

Yes, the Holiday Season is once again upon us. Time for merriment, gathering with friends, family, chosen family, and what have you to enjoy the sights, the sounds, and the food of the season. Unlike Ghosts of both Past, and Present, patrons of the Straz Center are plunged head-first into a dark tale based on figures found in Greek Mythology, and the tale itself seems all too relevant and perfectly placed in our current climate. The Broadway Smash Hadestown takes the stage by storm and leaves no prisoners in its wake. I for one am thankful for this time, the time to sit in a sacred space and experience the undeniably beautiful event that is live theatre, and the Straz Center is the Gift that keeps on giving, not only during the holiday season but all year long. Their 2022/2023 Bank of America Broadway Season is one of the absolute best yet!

Broadway in Cincinnati announced that the individual tickets for HADESTOWN are on sale now. The winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards including Best New Musical and the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album will come to Cincinnati in 2023. As part of the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Cincinnati series presented by TriHealth, the show will play the Aronoff Center from April 18 – 30.

Hadestown, the winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards including Best New Musical and the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, will come to Schenectady in 2023. The show will play Proctors from Tuesday, February 28 – Sunday, March 5, 2023.

Mesmerizing and captivating are just two of the words that might best describe Hadestown, the Tony Award-winning best musical of the truncated 2019-20 Broadway season, which is now commanding ovations of rapturous applause from adoring fans at Nashville’s Tennessee Performing Arts Center during an eight-performance run through Sunday, November 6.

Lana Gordon, who previously starred as Persephone in Hadestown on Broadway (taking over the role from its originator, Amber Gray), will be joining the National Tour of Hadestown as Perseophone for a limited engagement through November 19. 

The 2019 Tony Award winner for best musical, HADESTOWN, makes its tour stop in OKC. Hadestown is a mashup of two Greek mythologies, with original music and lyrics by singer/songwriter Anais Mitchell. When Eurydice follows Hades to his underground kingdom, Orpheus risks it all to find her and bring her back.

HADESTOWN will make its anticipated South Florida premiere at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County  from December 6–11, 2022.

New production photos have just been released of the Hadestown North American Tour, which has extended through Spring of 2024.

Lez Hang Out’s Webby finalist podcast “The Flame” will take the 54 Below stage on September 15th, 2022 at 7:00 pm. “The Flame” is queer romantic comedy filled with booze, ex-lovers, and eviction notices. The cast features Tony Award Nominee Jenn Colella, JJ Niemann and more.

The HADESTOWN North American Tour is coming to St. Louis at the Fabulous Fox Theatre October 11-23, 2022. Produced by Mara Isaacs, Dale Franzen, Hunter Arnold, and Tom Kirdahy, Hadestown is the most honored show of the 2018-2019 Broadway season.

The North American Tour of Hadestown will extend through the spring of 2024, adding engagements in cities across the United States and Canada.
