In a recent CBS news special, stage vet Mo Rocca, (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) investigates why Our Town, the 1938 Pulitzer Prize winning drama by Thornton Wilder about ordinary people living unextraordinary lives, still remains an audience favorite in an age where high action, technologically advanced drama and gossip dominates entertainment.

The critically acclaimed Off-Broadway hit, Thornton Wilder's Our Town, will be featured on this Sunday's (1/17) 'CBS Sunday Morning' in a segment by special correspondent Mo Rocca.

A current production of OUR TOWN playing at the Barrow Street Theatre has recently become the longest running production in the show's history, surpassing the Broadway's record of 337 performances. After opening February 26th of this year, OUR TOWN received critical acclaim and has remained open to sell-out audiences.
