Casting has been announced for the Milwaukee engagement of Disney's NEWSIES. The Tony Award-winning production will begin performances at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts on Tuesday, January 5 for a limited engagement through Sunday, January 10.

Casting has been announced for the Detroit engagement of Disney's NEWSIES. The Tony Award-winning production will begin performances at the Detroit Opera House tonight, December 15 for a limited engagement through December 27.

Casting has been announced for the St. Louis engagement of Disney's NEWSIES.   The Tony Award-winning production will begin performances at the Fabulous Fox Theatre on Tuesday, January 19 for a limited engagement through Sunday, January 31.

Tony Award-winning lyricist of the musical NEWSIES, Jack Feldman, married his longtime partner of 23 years, Dr. Matthew Liss, in an intimate ceremony and reception surrounded by family friends and Broadway luminaries at '48 Lounge' on Sunday, September 27th, 2015. On August 24, 2014, NEWISES closed on Broadway. Exactly one year later, cast members from the hit Broadway musical came together on the stage of 54 Below to reminisce. In the lineup were songs of various music styles, stories and memories of their time with the show. Below, watch as Andrew Keenan-Bolger, the original Crutchie, performs 'Letter from the Refuge'- a song that wasn't added to the show until the launch of the national tour.

On August 24th, cast members from the Broadway hit Newsies will reunite on the stage of 54 Below, exactly 1 year after closing. Audience members can expect to hear a variety of styles of music as well as stories and memories shared by the cast.

Award winning songwriter Joey Contreras releases new music video for Ohio, his ode to midwestern boys. The single is taken from the iTunes Pop charting album, Young Kind of Love - which features collaborations with The Voice contestant Loren Allred, DCD2 Records recording artist LOLO, and a host of exciting Broadway talent.

The cast of the Tony Award-winning musical NEWSIES took their excited final bows at the Nederlander Theatre today to uproarious applause from a packed audience. NEWSIES featured a Tony Award-winning score with music by eight-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken and lyrics by Jack Feldman, with a book by four-time Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein. Produced by Disney Theatrical Productions, NEWSIES was directed by Tony nominee Jeff Calhoun and choreographed by Christopher Gattelli, who won a 2012 Tony Award for his work. NEWSIES enjoyed almost two and a half years on Broadway.

Tonight, August 14th, cast members from Newsies will take part in Stop the Presses: Newsboys of New York Rally at 54 Below.

A second show has been added for Stop the Presses: Newsboys of New York Rally at 54 Below on August 14th. The 11:30pm show was added after the original 7pm show sold out in a matter of hours.
