The next generation of songwriters is busy working and took a night off to play and sing at The Green Room 42 on February 3rd. A full room of supportive music appreciators heard some new musical theatre-style material based on assignments like 'Imagine Blanche DuBois singing' or 'write a love song without the word 'love.''

Mile Square Theatre has announced their annual holiday benefit:  BROADWAY NIGHT! BROADWAY NIGHT will play one night only at Mile Square Theatre (1400 Clinton St. Hoboken, NJ 07030). The one performance will be on Monday, December 4 at 8 p.m.

Off The Lane will present a selection of songs from Dave Malloy's Ghost Quartet, featuring professional actors, live music, and dancers participating in a dance painting practice to create visual art pieces. The performance and art pieces will be presented on June 3rd, 2023 at 7:30pm and 8:30pm, with the visual works available for auction throughout the evening.

The York Theatre Company is presenting its first GenYork Concert, featuring composers, librettists, and performers all under the age of 35.

ALICE, a new operetta, will make its NYC premiere at The Tank August 11th - 14th. The work features a libretto and direction by Emily Drossell, an original score and music direction by George Luton, and choreography by Logan Pitts. ALICE also features the talents of Bianca Barragan, Michael Cagnetta, and Sami Hodes.

The York Theatre Company has announced registration for the MTTP Winter 2022 Intensive is now open to current college and high school students and recent college graduates. This intensive will be a hybrid starting off with virtual learning and moving to in-person rehearsals.
