TheatreWorks to Reopen October 2021 With LIZARD BOY

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley will resume in-person performances when it launches its previously announced 51st season, featuring eight plays and musicals presented October 2021 through August 2022, kicking off with the new indie folk-rock musical Lizard Boy.

Later adapted for the stage by Albert Hackett and Frances Goodrich, THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1955. A subsequent film version in 1959 received nine Oscar nominations and earned Shelley Winters an Academy Award for her performance. Also of note about this Vermont production, director Jones’s late sister-in-law Susan Strasberg was the original ANNE FRANK when the play debuted on Broadway.
THE HOT WING KING Wins the 2021 Pulitzer Prize for Drama

It was just announced by the Pulitzer Prize organization that Katori Hall's The Hot Wing King has officially won the 2021 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. This year's finalists included Circle Jerk by Michael Breslin and Patrick Foley and Stew by Zora Howard.

Perseverance Theatre will present This Wonderful Life by Steve Murray, conceived by Mark Setlock, adapted from the screenplay It's a Wonderful Life by Frances Goodrich, Albert Hackett, Frank Capra, and Jo Swerling. The production is directed by Leslie Ishii and Josh Lowman.

It was just announced by Pulitzer Prize Administrator Dana Canedy that Michael R. Jackson's A Strange Loop has officially won the 2020 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. This year's finalists included: Will Arbery's Heroes of the Fourth Turning and David Henry Hwang and Jeanine Tesori's Soft Power.
