One of the joys of reviewing shows is when I am assigned to critique a production at one of our local schools. It is an opportunity for me to watch actors perform simply for the love of theatre. Rise Above Performing Arts will start out the new year with Andrew Lloyd Webber's first musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with Book and Lyrics by Tim Rice. The show will open Thursday, January 10th with performances running until Sunday, January 13th.

In a recent interview with Digitalspy.com, filmmaker Danny Boyle shared that his next project will be an historical drama which he hopes will not remind people of a certain PBS British TV series.
