Rick McKay has shared another video from his trilogy, BROADWAY: THE GOLDEN AGE. In his words, 'Happy 96th Birthday, Marge Champion! Marge is seen her in her shoot for Rick McKay's BROADWAY: THE GOLDEN AGE FILM TRILOGY, in which she tells tales of her career. From being the artist/animator's inspiration for SNOW WHITE, to dancing through the Golden Age of Hollywood on the arm of her husband and dance partner GOWER CHAMPION, to winning an EMMY AWARD for choreographing the wonderful film, QUEEN OF THE STARDUST BALLROOM, Marge has done it all and is in no rush to quit. She co-starred opposite her old friend and early partner DONALD SADDLER on Broadway in FOLLIES in 2001 and again on camera in the 2012 film about them both, NEVER STAND STILL.'

Ric Burns' new documentary American Masters -- American Ballet Theatre: A History premieres nationwide Friday, May 15, 9-10:30 p.m. on PBS (check local listings) in honor of the ballet company's 75th anniversary. The film features American Ballet Theatre Soloist Misty Copeland, who has been named by TIME Magazine to the 2015 TIME 100 -- its annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world -- and is featured on the cover.

Plans were announced today for American Ballet Theatre's 75th Anniversary season by Kevin McKenzie, Artistic Director, and Rachel S. Moore, CEO. The 15-month long celebration will be highlighted by performances of ABT's historic repertoire presented during the Company's 2014 and 2015 seasons, a special PBS American Masters documentary by Ric Burns, a touring exhibit by the Library of Congress, a 75th Anniversary Gala and a new commemorative souvenir program.

In the crisp, morning hours on December 27, 2012 I got the chance to speak with Lara Teeter, who will be playing Cap'n Andy in the upcoming production of SHOW BOAT at Houston Grand Opera. The celebrated actor had a plethora of interesting and scholarly items to discuss about SHOW BOAT, and the character of Cap'n Andy. We also had a good time discussing his career as an actor, director, choreographer, and teacher.
