Walton Arts Center is the place for all things a cappella during the VoiceJam Festival April 4-6, 2019.

DCINY (Distinguished Concerts International New York), presents Deke Sharon and his fifth annual Total Vocal concert at Carnegie Hall.  Hosted and conducted by Sharon the program highlights DCappella, Disney's new a cappella group and Vintage Mix, the award-winning barbershop a cappella quartet of 18-year old quadruplets. Distinguished Concerts Singers International's record number of choirs and individual singers from all over the globe will perform with Sharon.  Total Vocal will take place Sunday, March 24, 2019, at 2:00 PM at Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage, Carnegie Hall. Disney's highly acclaimed a cappella group, DCappella comes to Mayo Performing Arts Center on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 8 pm. Tickets are $39-$89.

The Smith Center for the Performing Arts announced today that over 40 spring shows are now on sale, spanning Broadway hits, world-famous artists, international performers, family shows and more. Disney's highly acclaimed a cappella group, DCappella, has announced Friday, November 16 as the official release date for their forthcoming self-titled debut album, which will be available at all digital and physical retailers. Following the release will be the group's first ever North American tour, set to launch January 22, 2019 at the Florida Theatre in Jacksonville, FL. The San Francisco Conservatory of Music (SFCM) today announces the sixth annual Techapella a cappella showcase, taking place Sunday, November 4. Techapella, a vocal musical show which SFCM has hosted for the past two years, brings together a cappella groups composed of tech employees to showcase the best vocal ensembles in the industry. Returning to emcee the event this year is renowned a cappella personality and Sing-Off producer Deke Sharon.

The acclaimed male vocal group The Flyboys will make their Edinburgh Fringe debut this year when they perform their fusion act of vintage and modern music in four part harmony nightly at the Gilded Balloon's Rose Theatre (Main Theatre) from August 1 to August 24 at 10.30pm. The Flyboys brand of swing re-imagined has been described as "if Sinatra formed a band with Bruno Mars" or "a night where Pharrell Williams croons with Judy Garland, Ricky Martin scats with Cab Calloway and Maroon 5 groove with Ella Fitzgerald."

Disney Music Group's new a cappella singing sensation, D Cappella made their debut appearance Sunday night on the hit ABC music competition series, 'American Idol.' Theseven-member groupperformed classic Disney songs throughout the show's Disney Night themed episode, including favorites from 'The Little Mermaid,' 'Beauty and the Beast,' 'The Lion King,' and 'Aladdin.' The group's co-creator, music director, arranger and artistic producer is Deke Sharon, aka 'the father of contemporary a cappella' (Entertainment Weekly). Their first national tour will launch in 2019.

Walton Arts Center is now accepting applications for the new VoiceJam Varsity Singers, a week-long learning and performance opportunity for up to 25 high school or college-aged vocalists who are interested in a cappella.

Los Angeles composers feature prominently in the Los Angeles Master Chorale's 55th concert season announced today by Grant Gershon, Kiki and David Gindler Artistic Director, and Jean Davidson, President and CEO. The contemporary works include the world premiere of Eric Whitacre's The Sacred Veil and the West Coast premiere of Reena Esmail's This Love Between Us: Prayers for Unity. All concerts will be performed in Walt Disney Concert Hall where the Master Chorale is choir-in-residence.

Now is the time to submit your audition videos for VoiceJam, the annual a cappella festival produced by Walton Arts Center. The festival will light up Northwest Arkansas with smooth harmonies and unbelievable beats in April, and any a cappella group of three or more can audition to be part of it.
