La Mama Theatre to Present Premiere of YELLINGBO

La Mama Theatre is set to present Yellingbo, an ingenious, darkly witty drama from acclaimed local playwright, Tee O’Neill, (BARASSI The Stage Show). The production will run at the new La Mama HQ, 205 Faraday Street, Carlton from March 9th through the 20th. The show explores the limits of Australians’ generosity in the context of today’s refugee crisis.

The Museum of Arts and Design to Present Virtual Free Trunk Shows With International Jewelry Artists

The Museum of Arts and Design celebrates the craft of artist-made jewelry with MAD About Jewelry 2020, virtual shows and sales of more than 40 of the world's most innovative contemporary jewelry artists. Small groups of artists will show their work on the museum's website, then every two weeks, the artists will rotate and jewelry by a new group will be featured for sale. In mid-November, MAD About Jewelry 2020 will culminate with a presentation of work from all the 2020 artists, including new work, online through the end of the year.
