Stephen Sondheim was in the audience at Barrington Stage Company's production of COMPANY the night before, but last night it was all about Joe Iconis and family appearing on the dark Mainstage for a one night concert as COMPANY rested for the evening.  Mr. Sondheim was  highly enthusiastic for the Julianne Boyd directed COMPANY and spent time with Aaron Tveit and the cast after the show.  It was an historic evening for the BSC community as Stephen Sondheim was generous with his praise for all involved with the production, which is the talk of the Berkshires this season. 

After many summers of blowing the roof off of Mr. Finn's Cabaret, Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in Downtown Pittsfield, MA under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd, proudly presents Joe Iconis and Family TAKE OVER! on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 8pm.

'That's really niche.' Those words from one of the night's emcees, Feinstein's/54 Below Programming Director Jennifer Ashley Tepper, were technically used in reference to Linda Lavin's propensity to play love interests for superheroes. But, really, they could've been used to describe BROADWAY BOUND: THE MUSICALS THAT NEVER CAME TO BROADWAY, which played at the aforementioned venue March 21.

This February, Feinstein's/54 Below celebrates the winter season's most anticipated evenings with special celebrations that will delight lovers (and their foes), thrill film aficionados, and provide an alternative for those looking to escape Super Bowl Sunday.

Sharon Playhouse, under the leadership of Artistic Director John Simpkins and Managing Director Justin Ball, presents the new musical comedy, Judge Jackie: Disorder in the Court on Stage 2 in the Bok Gallery from July 7-17. Opening Night is Thursday, July 7 at 7:00pm.
