New American Folk Theatre is pleased to present the world premiere of SCRAPS, the story of the Patchwork Girl of Oz, many years after her celebrated adventures in L. Frank Baum's Oz book series. Written by Co-Artistic Director Anthony Whitaker* and directed by Co-Artistic Director Jamal Howard*, SCRAPS will play September 1 - 29, 2018 at The Den Theatre (2A), 1331 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood.

Factory Theater Presents THE ADVENTURES OF SPIRIT FORCE FIVE

The Factory Theater presents the world premiere of The Adventures of Spirit Force Five, playing June 29 - August 11 at the Factory Theater, 1623 W. Howard St. The new play is written by Jill Oliver and directed by Spenser Davis. Previews are Friday, June 29 and Saturday, June 30 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, July 1 at 3 p.m.

It's Pompeii meets Heathers as New American Folk Theatre presents the Midwest premiere of Johnny Drago's 1980s-infused comedy HOT PINK, OR READY TO BLOW, directed by Derek Van Barham, playing March 10 - April 7, 2018 at The Den Theatre (2A), 1333 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood. Tickets are currently available at newamericanfolktheatre.org or by calling (773) 697- 3830. The press opening is Monday, March 12 at 7:30 pm.

Additional Performers Announced For Random Acts' #SAFESPACE, 3/19

Random Acts new variety event series, #SafeSpace, will launch with a show on Monday, March 19th at 8pm hosted by actor and comedian Sadieh Rifai (Amazon's Patriot.). Proceeds from the 3/19 event will be donated to Planned Parenthood.

Kokandy Productions is pleased to continue its 5th anniversary season with the Chicago premiere of BONNIE & CLYDE, the musical story of two small-town nobodies searching for meaning at the height of the Great Depression from the creative team of Frank Wildhorn, Ivan Menchell and Don Black. Directed by Spencer Neiman, with music direction by John Cockerill and choreography by Aubrey Adams, BONNIE & CLYDE will play August 27 - October 15, 2017 at Theater Wit, 1229 W.
