The World Premiere of ELIZABETHS will play the United Solo Theatre Festival tonight, November 11, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. The show runs 20 minutes with no intermission.

Artistic Director, Akia, announced that Rising Sun Performance Company will present their first ever 24 Hour Play Festival today, October 25th. She stated 'I'm very pleased to have the opportunity to assemble such an exciting group of talent for this one night event'.

Wagner College Theatre will present the Class of 2014's Senior Showcase on Monday March 31. The Showcase will be held at the Pershing Square Signature Theater from 6:30-7:30pm with a reception to follow. This event is for theater industry professionals and is not open to the public.

Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF is proud to present Steve Yockey's Pluto, part of Harriett's New Play Series, from February 27 - March 23, 2014. In collaboration with Atlanta's Actor's Express and Washington, DC's Forum Theatre, Orlando Shakespeare Theater will produce the National New Play Network's (NNPN) 35th Rolling World Premiere through the Network's Continued Life of New Plays Fund. The NATIONAL NEW PLAY NETWORK (NNPN), the country's alliance of non-profit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, announces its 35th Rolling World Premiere: Steve Yockey's Pluto will receive three productions through the Network's Continued Life of New Plays Fund in the 2013/14 season. Pluto will begin its Rolling World Premiere at Actor's Express (Atlanta, GA, today, November 16 - December 8, 2013), followed by performances at Forum Theatre (Washington, DC, February 20 - March 15, 2014) and Orlando Shakespeare Theatre (Orlando, FL, February 27 - March 23, 2014).

'Romeo & Juliet,' Shakespeare's popular romantic tragedy of two star-crossed lovers, opens on the Wagner College Theatre's Main Stage on Nov. 13 for a two-week run. It's a timeless story of young passions caught between the feuding Capulet and Montague families.

In this industry-wide event, which will take place at the Times Square Visitor Center (1560 Broadway, between 46th and 47th Streets) in the heart of the theatre district, theater professionals will receive special recognition for having worked 25, 35, and 50 years in their respective theatrical craft. The event will begin at 3:30PM with red carpet arrivals, and the public ceremony will begin at 4:00PM.
