Casting has been announced for DOG SEES GOD: CONFESSIONS OF A TEENAGE BLOCKHEAD, written by Bert V. Royal and directed by Ryan Warren, playing September 29th & 30th at The Wm J. Geery Theater in Sacramento, CA.

Executive produced by Emmy® Award nominee Jessica Biel and Michelle Purple (“The Sinner,” “Candy”) through Iron Ocean Productions and from studio eOne, the first season of “Cruel Summer” was a critical and ratings smash, making it Freeform’s most-watched series in network history.

Pace University's Actors Studio Drama School Master of Fine Arts Program today announced the return of its emblematic Repertory Season featuring the acting, directing, and playwriting Class of 2020 with five consecutive weeks of live performances, beginning Oct. 20, 2021. 

On Hulu, “Cruel Summer” was the most-watched next-day season one title from a linear channel in its first seven weeks to date.

Freeform’s highly anticipated psychological mystery, “CRUEL SUMMER,” will premiere with a two-hour event on TUESDAY, APRIL 20, at 9:00 p.m. EDT/PDT.

The Theater Project will present 'Dog Sees God' streaming live on Zoom, March 5-7. The 90-minute performance begins at 7:30 p.m. on March 5 and 6, followed by a 2 p.m. matinee on March 7.

Freeform has ordered the drama 'Last Summer' to series, from Entertainment One (eOne) and executive producers Bert V. Royal ('Easy A,' 'Recovery Road'), with Iron Ocean Productions' Jessica Biel and Michelle Purple ('The Sinner,' 'Limetown'). The pilot is executive produced and directed by Max Winkler ('Jungleland,' 'Flower').

A fine production of the 'unauthorized continuation' of the 'Peanuts' comic strip that seemed a bit too forced.

Royal (“Easy A,” “Recovery Road”), with Iron Ocean Productions' Jessica Biel and Michelle Purple (“The Sinner,” “Limetown”), and Max Winkler (“Jungleland,” “Flower”). Royal also penned the script, with Winkler directing. Production recently kicked off in Texas.

Freeform has picked up the one-hour drama 'Last Summer' to pilot, it was announced today by Lauren Corrao, executive vice president, Original Programming and Development.

Why is theatre important? That is a question that everyone answers differently. For me, it is important because it is an artform that pushes us to examine ourselves and pushes us to have a dialogue about things that we might not talk about in our every day life. For me, Des Moines Young Artist Theatre's production of 'Dog Sees God' by Bert V Royal does that. It asks us to look at issues such as drug use, suicide, eating disorders, teen violence, rebellion and sexual identity. What makes this show special is that it does it by using characters that seem like they might be characters that are near and dear to our hearts.

Atlantic Theater Company is proud to announce that Little Known Facts at Atlantic, a live podcast hosted by Ilana Levine, will be returning as a full series this spring. Little Known Facts at Atlantic was originally presented as a one night only event featuring Atlantic Ensemble member Mary Steenburgen and Ted Danson. Following the first event's success, three additional live podcasts have been announced.
