Bristol Riverside Theatre (BRT) has announced that Jameson Gilpatrick will step down as Managing Director. Mr. Gilpatrick, who has been with the theatre since 2014, has accepted a position with Steps on Broadway in New York City to serve as the organization's Finance Director.

Community and collaboration are the watchwords of Bristol Riverside Theatre's production of Henrik Ibsen's An Enemy of the People, running tonight, May 12-May 31. Co-directed by Susan D. Atkinson and Amy Kaissar, the high-voltage drama, which concludes BRT's Mainstage Season, features an ensemble of professional actors Keith Baker, Kevin Bergen, Mark Collmer, Brian Brillinger, Laura Giknis, Marc LeVasseur, Shamus Hunter McCarty, P. Brendan Mulvey and Sabrina Proffitt performing alongside Bucks County community members. The production is supported in part by a generous grant from PECO.

In keeping with the spirit of art historian Heidi Holland and her adventurous journey through the remarkable decades of 60s, 70s, and 80s art and culture, producers have announced that the first Broadway revival of the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning Wendy Wasserstein play The Heidi Chronicles will offer a free one-year membership to the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) with the purchase of two full price orchestra or front mezzanine tickets to any performance of The Heidi Chronicles through April 16. Tickets must be purchased on or before February 22. Those who are already MoMA members will receive a one-year extension on their membership.

Bristol Riverside Theatre Receives $50,000 Grant

Bristol Riverside Theatre has announced the receipt of a $50,000 grant from J.P. Mascaro & Sons, a local waste removal and recycling company to help save BRT's summer ArtRageous program. An unexpected loss of funding for the ArtRageous program threatened to necessitate cutting scholarship money for 100 kids. The grant from Mascaro & Sons, combined with a $25,000 matching grant from the Grundy Foundation which was matched by support from Arkema, Milestone Bank, and The Bucks County Foundation, has restored opportunities for 118 children to attend this summer.
