'A Good Farmer,' by Sharyn Rothstein, is currently on stage at Center SOPAC through Sunday, February 4th. Produced by American Theatre Group and expertly directed by Kel Haney, it is an outstanding production that raises awareness of matters that immigrants and family farmers face in our country. See it and talk about it. This is an important piece of theatre.

Award-winning singer and actress April Woodall (Souvenir, Reading Under the Influence, Gray Matters) is realizing a dream this March in Philadelphia. Woodall will star in the world premiere of Hearing John Denver's Voice, a cabaret exploring her multifaceted relationship with the music of John Denver, at L'Etage (624 S. 6th Street). SOPAC Announces Theatre in-Residence American Theater Group Makes South Orange its New Home

The South Orange Performing Arts Center is thrilled to announce a new partnership with American Theater Group, a professional member theatre of the New Jersey Theatre Alliance. The company, headed by Producing Artistic Director James Vagias, will begin presenting staged readings in the SOPAC Loft in January, 2017 and the following year will produce at least two fully-staged productions on the mainstage. As SOPAC's theatre company in-residence, American Theater Group and SOPAC will co-present these theatrical offerings.
