The Canadian premiere of THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL will play Toronto's Meridian Hall for the 2019 holiday season. Performances begin December 17 for eight performances only. Winner of both the Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Best Musical, THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL is led and conceived by visionary director Tina Landau (2018 Tony Award® nominee) and a Tony Award®-winning design team.

State Theatre New Jersey presents The SpongeBob Musical for four performances from Friday, November 29 to Sunday, December 1. Based on the wildly popular kids' animated series SpongeBob SquarePants, The SpongeBob Musical features an original pop and rock-infused score by a legendary roster of Grammy Award-winning songwriters. Tickets range from $40-$98.

The National (non-equity) Tour of THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL settled in at the Boch Center's Wang Theatre this week and brought out families and children raised on the beloved Nickelodeon series. Based on the television series by Stephen Hillenburg, it was conceived and directed by Tina Landau and features a book by Kyle Jarrow, but the eclectic score is the crème de la crème of THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL.

Following a critically lauded run on Broadway, members of the original award-winning Broadway company of The SpongeBob Musical: Live On Stage! will reunite to film the show for television in front of a live theater audience. The live television production will capture all-new depths of theatrical innovation where the power of optimism really can save the world. The SpongeBob Musical: Live On Stage! will air on Nickelodeon this December.

SpongeBob the Musical will be bringing Bikini Bottom to the Overture Center for the Arts in Madison, WI from October 8 to 13th, 2019.

19 of the original singers on Avicii's biggest tracks, including Aloe Blacc, Adam Lambert, Alex Ebert, Rita Ora and Joe Janiak (see full list below) , will come together with a 30 pc band to perform a two hour headline set of his original music on December 5 at the Friends Arena in Stockholm for the Avicii Tribute Concert for Mental Health Awareness, the Avicii team announced today.  The event will open with  headline DJ sets from David Guetta, Kygo, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Laidback Luke and Nicky Romero, all close friends of Tim Bergling.

This explosively imaginative production will launch at PROCTORS in Schenectady, NY this September before bringing Bikini Bottom and its beloved residents to previously announced engagements in Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto and more. The cast will be announced at a later date.

Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros announce a show at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles on August 9 in support of the 10 year Anniversary of their debut album Up From Below. The band will be releasing a remastered version of the album on vinyl and through the digital streaming platforms on the same date.

Grammy-nominated DJ, music producer, composer and music/film director Sam Spiegel is joining forces with critically acclaimed Brazilian electronic duo Tropkillaz for the new single “Perfect” featuring Bia and MC Pikachu.
